Cattle

Cattle is a $400B+ global commodity with ~1 billion head population and 73 MMT beef production. India has largest population but most are dairy/draft (Hindu religious restrictions). Brazil leads commercial beef production (11 MMT, 27% exported). USA dominates premium quality grain-fed segment. China is world's largest beef importer (3+ MMT). EUDR Dec 30 2026 applies to cattle/beef/leather - massive Brazilian Amazon traceability challenge. USA cattle cycle in herd-rebuilding phase post-2021-23 drought = sustained tight supply through 2027.
