Wheat

Wheat is the world's most widely planted grain (~800 MMT, $220B+) and the most climatically adaptable - grown 67N to 45S. Six commercial classes globally with protein content ranging 8.5-15%+ driving end-use segmentation. Russia, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, Ukraine, Argentina form the global export complex. Egypt is largest single importer through GASC tenders that move global benchmarks. Black Sea geopolitics (Russia-Ukraine war), Northern Hemisphere June-August weather, and the wheat-corn substitution ratio are the three central price drivers. Not under EUDR.
